A disgraceful anniversay

Yesterday was the 6th anniversary of the obamanation (sic) known as the Affordable Health Care Act, the greatest government debacle of all time. We don’t hear much about it these days because our diligent Fourth Estate is busy ignoring the facts of its imminent collapse and, as usual, accommodating the One Beyond Questioning.

The legislation was promoted as a sure-fire guarantee of reduced health costs and premiums while increasing coverage. I remind readers that this was drafted and passed by an all-Democrat cabal composed of Obama, and SUPER MAJORITIES in the House and Senate. There was not one Republican vote needed, and none did, yet Oblabla, as usual, still managed to claim Republican “obstructionism” during the secretive, behind-closed-doors pork-fest crafted by the cabal. And let’s not forget Scott Brown’s (R) special election by the blueist of blue states—Massachusetts—as a blocking vote in the Senate, quickly nullified by The Fraud in the White House (also remind yourself of his comment that the edifice at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave is “his house,” not OUR house). The will of the people means nothing to Charlatan-in-Chief.

Then there were rumors that Congress granted themselves a waiver from their own odious and noxious law. According to FactCheck.org, that isn’t true. See  http://www.factcheck.org/2013/05/congress-and-an-exemption-from-obamacare/

But notice all references cited in that article were pre-2010. There were no “bills” to grant waivers, but they got most of it anyway the next year. Just search on congress waiver from obamacare and pick a few articles.

So let’s look at how this all has worked out:

Duh…it hasn’t. Surprise, surprise!

How much of a failure has it been? A failure on all fronts, of course, but let’s get some data on just one—how premiums have been affected. See http://bit.ly/1T7MGGF

Happy anniversary! Party on!
