[NOTE: This post would have to be revised often to keep up with the constantly changing ability to find the video being discussed. At the moment I am writing this (8/6/17), it is available again but it’s anyone’s guess how long that will last. The first paragraph that follows was appropriate when the video was apparently pulled from the usual sources.]
In its original form, this post started with a video of a commercial. But after a couple days the link suddenly and mysteriously “broke.” Have no fear, it is shown as part of this even more disturbing post (scroll down to the one with two people infront of a blue background) that had me wanting to either bash my brains in with a ball-peen hammer or step in front of speeding train because the participants hit me like fingernails-on-chalkboard. [NOTE: whether the link works or not appears to be browser dependent and/or your browser SafeFinder (or equivalent) settings]
If the link doesn’t work for you, search on < skittles umbilical cord ad> You will find plenty of hits showing the commercial video but not with the same commentary/analysis.
What kind of mind comes up with this?
What kind of corporate culture approves it as representing their brand?
What kind media outlet licensed for the public good would broadcast it?
What kind of creature would buy the product because of this ad?
I have to go rip out my eyeballs and take a shower.
