In the course of my meanderings around the web-o-sphere this rainy weekend, as I successfully avoided any-and-all coverage of the royal wedding, I came across a piece from Vanity Fair. I don’t think of the magazine, given its title, as a source of anything authoritative, although others seem to think it might offer insight into current culture and fashion.
